Following the launch of the all-new Honda Civic, Honda Europe tasked Sassy+ with creating a premium campaign to introduce its high-performance sibling, the Civic Type R. The brief called for content that embodied the model’s power and precision while giving local European markets a versatile toolkit of video and photography assets optimised for multi-channel use.

THE CHALLENGE

The Type R is more than a car – it’s an icon with a cult following. The challenge was to differentiate it from the Civic campaign, channel its aggressive character and thrill an audience of enthusiasts. All assets had to be captured under strict embargo conditions, requiring a secret production approach while still delivering a full suite of cinematic, market-ready content.
